A Vampire's Winter
Winter wind freezing all
Conforming with pure snow
Killing what's left of fall,
The last of the sun's glow
Scarlet eyes burn threw ice
Glaring through to her heart
Dying love is summer's price
For the sun keeps them apart
Winter's darkness surrounds her
But tonight she remains alone
Listening to a new prey's laughter,
A fools heart listening to the unknown

it's so beautiful!!!!
Thank you. I'm a huge fan of vampires and I hope my work does them justice. I hate to to see them become soft (and sparkley)in society's view.
